Happy Valentine's Day! I'm so thankful for Valentine's Day for giving us something to get excited about (and maybe dressed up for) during the Winter. January seriously needs a holiday, am I right? Christmas feels like a million years ago, but I digress. Valentine's Day comes at the perfect time and I've loved getting festive this week. What are you plans for V Day?
This year we're starting a new tradition - we want to take our kids on little special outings and we're skipping the restaurant craziness and staying in. Brad is taking the girls out to a pottery cafe and I'm taking Oli to High Tea, then tonight Brad and I are planning to have home made salmon tartare (recipe here!) and watch a movie we've both wanted to see for ages (Darkest Hour). All week long I've been wearing red lips and pink nails to get in the spirit! I made my annual heart cookies for the kids and treated myself to some macarons from Patisserie Rhubarbe. In all, an amazing week!
I'm wearing Fly Girl (the best, boldest red ever!) from Lips in the 6 in these pictures and I love it. It stayed during all the tasty treats and wet smooches I've enjoyed this week, haha! I'm doing a giveaway for Lips in the 6 over on Instagram today, so go check it out!
