As a city family who aim to drive very little, a stroller has always
been part of our life and still will be for at least another year or
two. When you have three kids in three years, a big stroller for multiples is
part of the package. And while I have loved our trusty stroller for
years, we're now at a point where a simple lightweight stroller would serve our family just fine.
With all the traveling we do, in addition to using the subway regularly, a lightweight stroller that collapses easily was high on my priority list. Urban life and traveling are made all the simpler with a stroller you can store your things in while giving your kids a ride - I've even taken my stroller to the grocery store without my kids just for the storage, haha!
I'd been looking at a few umbrella stroller options when Snuggle Bugz reached out and offered to let us test drive the new Kaia by Maxi-Cosi. What a beautiful stroller! It has such a modern look and I love the fabric on the seat. And as a tall mama, I'm amazed at how high the handles are! In the past when I've used friend's umbrella strollers I've been hunched over because the handles were so incredibly low. There's lots of leg room for longer strides, too, so tall mamas and dads alike will love this.
The Kaia can hold kids up to 50lbs, which is great because even our oldest likes to hitch a ride from time to time! This stroller folds up so nicely and is really compact, and it can be part of a travel system with an infant car seat. We love it for running around the city, navigating the metro, and it will be a dream this summer when we head to Europe.
